You will receive a 1 gallon live Inga edulis plant. They will grow in Zones 9 - 11 and we presume they will grow in slightly colder and warmer regions. As they are part of the legume family, they produce their own nitrogen and fix nitrogen in the soil. They are self-fruitfull, they will begin growing fruits as earliest as their 2nd year of growth. Inga edulis prefers well drained soil and is very drought tolerant.

Size: In dry climates they will grow anywhere from 6-12 m. In their native environments they grow anywhere from 12-30 m. Their branches form a broad, flat, moderately dense canopy.

Roots: Roots are extensive but noninvasive.
